Questions Tulsa families ask us

How do most families pay for senior care?

Usually a combination: private pay, long-term care insurance, VA benefits, Medicaid, and assistance programs. The right mix depends on the care needed and what your family has. We help you find it.

What are VA benefits for senior care?

Wartime veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for a benefit often called Aid and Attendance, which adds money to a monthly VA pension to help pay for care. Many who qualify never apply because they do not know it exists.

What is the GUIDE program?

GUIDE is a Medicare program for people with dementia and their caregivers. It offers care navigation, a 24/7 caregiver support line, caregiver education, and respite (capped around $2,500 a year), at no cost to eligible patients. Eligibility includes a dementia diagnosis and Original Medicare Parts A and B (not Medicare Advantage). We do not run the program. We simply advise families on whether they may qualify and how to access it.
